August 2010 Visit.

Carolyn and I arrived in time to attended the pre-registration for the Pin Convention at the Yacht Club. We picked up our new pins and received our free sign up gifts - Our Trade City T-Shirts and a book with two Trade City Pins.  The concept of the book was to fill it with pins from the Mystery packs of Trade City Road Signs. What a neat idea! Turned out not to be so hot because there were no Mystery packs to be had.

The following day we arrived shortly after the 9:00am opening and began standing in line to trade off the Pin Boards.  Although there were some AP's and Blue backed "10" to be had the majority of the boards had hidden Mickeys and non-mystery pack road signs.

We spoke with many of the attendees they too were disappointed with this year's Pin Boards. I am sure had there been Mystery Boxes to purchase the Buzz would have been more positive. All in all we had a good time at the convention.

Disney had many of the up coming Pins displayed ( I hope to get the images up soon).

Carolyn and I set up at Epcot on Monday and Tuesday to trade with other guests and had a great time. Based on all the wonderful people I spoke with from the UK, I'm not to sure anyone was left to mind the store in England.

As always I am behind on this site as I am on the plane coming home from our September trip.
