July 2010 Visit.
HOT
- HOT - HUMID - HUMID - HOT - HOT
We can verify that late July
in central Florida is hot and humid with average temps of 95
and humidity over 70%. Trading was very slow at Epcot as
it seemed most of the other guests were non-English speaking
foreigners. We could not explain the concept of pin trading
with most. All the parks had the largest crowds we had ever
fought thru, even the Carousel of progress had a line.
While attending the monthly
Pin Trading night at the Contemporary Carolyn was able to
trade for a really cool Super Jumbo of the Pirates of the
Caribbean.
Nothing eventful to report -
We can not what for the big annual Pin Convention in August.
Our Pin purchase forms for
the convention has arrived. Carolyn and I are getting most of
the pins we put in for with the exception of 3 pins.
Interestingly I was able to purchase all the sets and Carolyn
did not get chosen for any of them. Not a problem as I put in
for them for her.
See you at the Pin Event - I
will post pictures from the event.
As a side note we are still
not using the Disney Dining Plan. We are spending an average
of $50.00 per day on food as we eat an average of one meal a
day plus a snack, too hot to eat more than a light meal or
snack during the day.
